• Nonimmigrant Visa

• Immigrant Visa
  An Immigrant Visa is for a person who plans to live permanently in the United States. To receive an immigrant visa a person has ho meet certain requirements (usually in education, family or work fields).
• Green card lottery
  The factual name for the Green Card Lottery is Diversity Lottery (DV). The program makes 55,000 immigrant visas available through a lottery. If you receive a visa through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program you and your family will be authorized to live and work permanently in the United States.
• DV lottery
